Since it's beginning 'Sanctum' has always pushed the boundaries of the rock club scene, bringing you live performances from the best UK underground bands, collaborations with some of the UK's top club nights to breath-taking 17 hour parties! Sanctum has always taken it that one step further snd we would like to invite you to join us on it's next monumental step as Sanctum hosts not one, but TWO massive events over the May Bank Holiday Weekend! First up Sanctum joins forces with Wakizashi and Klub Asbo 11pm - 6am@The Electrowerkz (Angel EC1) on Friday 4th May. Sanctum will be hosting the massive 2nd floor. Resident S8/UK DJ's plus guest will be ripping the place apart with a frenzied collection of Metal, Rock, Alt., Emo, Hardcore and Thrash! Whilst in the main downstairs room Wakizashi DJ's Mowgli and 2Twist 2Mix & The Dreadnaughts will be blasting a bass booming mix of Drum n Bass, Electronica, Hip-Hop, Jungle and Break-Beats! Then on top of that we have the guys from Klub Asbo hosting the downstairs Bar Area supplying a mix of sounds from Punk, Ska (Old & New) and Rocksteady! They'll also be hosting a Sony Playstation 'Guitar Hero' competition and giving away a load of Download goodies including two VIP tickets to this upcoming Download Festival! Kobrakai lend us their contemporary heavy screamo offseting the brutal but melodic sounds of Manchesters finest SevenYearsDead. If you thought that was enough, tough! There is also Americunt desecrating the land we stand apon. We then get all proggy on you with Equinox and bring some traditional hard rock to the table with the Crobar Surgeons

After a long wait the Helsinki vampires – The 69 Eyes will finally tour the UK. After showing what they can do live at the Islington Academy in 2005 as support to Wednesday 13 their first UK tour will end at the Barfly in Camden on Thursday 31st May. Tickets are available on the Ticketweb website now.

They also play Rock City in Nottinham on Tuesday 29 May and King Tuts in Glasgow on Wednesday 30 May.
