Metal masters Parallax make an almost inevitable appearance. Currently gaining a reputation in London for simply being superb Crowning Glory are the main support along with the crushing riff–driven sorcery of Silas. Woden add some traditional din while Safehouse Theory dance the night way. Kobrakai lend us their contemporary heavy screamo offseting the brutal but melodic sounds of Dryland Drowning. If you thought that was enough, tough! There is also the female–fronted assault of Zocalo and Americunt desecrating the land we stand apon. We then get all proggy on you with Equinox and bring some traditional hard rock to the table with the Crobar Surgeons. Gary Star Gutter will provide some guitar wizardry to start off the day.

With Rock Matrix local event nights now seeing over 1000 people a week, Rock Matrix now feels that it has taken the event nights as far as it can on its own, but fully believes that these nights can be even bigger and better. Therefore and after years of working with Blacktie Promotions all the Rock Matrix events will be passed to Andy and Nat of BTP to be managed from 1st June. As part of the collaboration there will be a celebratory hand over week from Sunday 1st July, culminating in the 4 year ROCK NIGHT party at the Rat n Parrot on Thursday July 5th which will be free entry for all!

This collaboration is a chance to put this area on the map forever and be recognised as the best scene in the country. Rock Matrix will be working behind the scenes to forge relationships and build stronger offerings to all the bands, venues and attendees to the nights it promotes.

Glamtastic hard rockers King Lizard make a welcome return to the Purple Turtle in Camden on Saturday.

The lizard boys recently completed a hughly successful UK tour and are currently on top form. You would be a fool to miss this one. Various other bands complete the line–up but the lizards will be the ones to catch!

After a long wait the Helsinki vampires – The 69 Eyes will finally tour the UK. After showing what they can do live at the Islington Academy in 2005 as support to Wednesday 13 their first UK tour will end at the Barfly in Camden on Thursday 31st May. Tickets are available on the Ticketweb website now.

They also play Rock City in Nottinham on Tuesday 29 May and King Tuts in Glasgow on Wednesday 30 May.
