UK power metallers POWER QUEST play at the Purple Turtle in Camden on the 3rd December as part of the Thunderball rock and metal night. They are supported by NEONFLY and hard rockers LETHAL FIXX.
Rock Matrix will be there to review what promises to be an excellent night!

Bloodstock Open Air 2009
Bloodstock Open Air returns in 2009 and is set to increase in size for the 5th year running. Three days full of pure metal and a little bit more at Catton Hall!
Weekend tickets cost £85.00 (up to 15th December, after which they will increase) and can be ordered from the Bloodstock website - Order Bloodstock Open Air tickets.

Guitarist urgently wanted for new Power-Groove Rock band, featuring ex-members of RECULVER and KLUNK. If you're into the likes of CLUTCH and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and can play and write in that style then we'd like to meet you! Experience and own equipment absolutely necessary, and an easy-going nature would be good too. Age 25+. Auditions / Rehearsals take place at Creekside Studios, Deptford on Sunday afternoons. Check out these tracks - if you can do this stuff then contact us!
Once the right guitarist is found, we will be looking for a Hammond / Keyboard player to compliment the sound too...

GWEN STACY will join 36 Crazyfists and Poison The Well on their highly anticipated tour kicking off in Wreham, Wales on March 4, 2009. This will be the band’s first European tour and they're greatly looking forward to playing to new crowds and making new fans.
The band recently wrapped up their tour with Unearth, The Acacia Strain, and Protest the Hero and are about to embark on another US tour with Stick To Your Guns, Mychildren Mybride, Agraceful, and Attack! Attack! before ending their 2008 tour campaign. They’ve been on the road constantly in support of their record 'THE LIFE I KNOW'.
Gwen Stacy has battled through 2008, blazing their way through every major market in the US. With new members in the fold, the band has already started writing their sophomore record.
