Firstly an invite - some of you want to help us progress and others want to protect us from harm. On Sunday upstairs at the OHM bar at 7pm we invite you to take part in a meeting for those who show that little bit of extra! Please feel free to talk to us and hear what the lead up to Christmas is all about.

Also the Bull n Vic is going to become VERY different! Tuesday will be a brand new format from September. We'll be putting the most effort you have ever witnessed in bringing you the best alterntaive night out you have ever been to! It's no longer primarily a bands night although 2 bands will still be playing in THE MUSIC LEAGUE!

Metal Mondays are back with a right mix of metal for you. Headlining we have Bromley based power metallers ARXIS. P.O.S. 51 bring their nu-metal thunkery to the table while things get heavier with FLESHWOUND. LES CLAYDEN provides some classic guitar playing to open the evening. DJ 69 will be playing plenty of stuff from bands at Bloodstock.

WANTED: Diverse and dynamic drummer to complete 3 piece Alt Rock band!

Based in SE London, we're looking for a drummer with a broad taste in most types of music; willing to experiment and push musical boundaries to their limits. We play quite heavy music, with a particular emphasis on strong melodies and groove-laden rhythms. Experience playing live preferable, with all musical ideas welcome. Must be extremely committed and own a drum kit.

We have ample gigging experience, and frequently play gigs across London. We also have a strong set list of material ready for gigging (with a steady flow of new material), a van to cover any transport issues and a strong fan base.

Main influences include Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd and Led Zep. Rock is the main flavour, but the melting pot is potentially open to all styles and genres.

Influential metal quintet UNEARTH has completed work on its new album. Entitled 'The March', the record is scheduled to drop on October 10 (D/A/CH/I), October 13 (rest of Europe) via Metal Blade Records.

The European version of the album will include an exclusive bonus-DVD that will only be available on the Euro version! Will come in special packaging as well. More info on this soon... 'The March' was recorded at both MA's System Recording Studios and Zing Studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz. The album is said to feature UNEARTH's "most dynamic material to date," combining strong tension and release, abundant guitar solos and a bulldozing power-groove. On the topic of the new album, UNEARTH front man Trevor Phipps states, "'The March' symbolizes both the evil and hopeful sides of humanity. The Evil: With the constant balancing act of power within government, religion and our financial institutions, there lies the chance of those most hungry for power to alter and restrict our freedoms for their gain. The Hopeful: This represents the faith in mankind as the most powerful force on the planet. If we come together and do not fight over religion, class and borders then we hold the key to a peaceful world. There are two possible futures in store; either a March of power and greed or a March of a unified human race."
