What you give:

• You agree to play 1 gig minimum per band (+2 more if successful in heats)
• You pay a deposit of £10 each per band member fully returnable
• You supply personal info to make you fully contactable
• You consider what this platform can become, beyond this year!
• You have some level of ambition and competence to take advantage of what we are offering and you understand the terms and condition upon entering.

There is NO catch, it's technically FREE ENTRY to the platform and comes with a feck load of stuff you can take advantage of. Its simply the best way to get your band noticed over the next 4 months.

The CD: A track charge of £5 per band member will be taken from the deposit if the band wished to be part of the compilations with a per track value charge of £1 per track # in reverse of the track 20, i.e. track #1 £20, track#7 £13, Track#20 £1 etc (Free if recording at Jigga Jam studios)

Deposits: Will be fully returnable (£10) or in part (£5 )of CD has been utilised by the band, this money will be in cash and can be claimed form the 1st June until 31st July at which point it will be donated to charity of our choice. (Last year we raised £1250 from the Band Quest via donations.)

New Rock band seeking a Song-writing Guitarist who can play with a DIRTY GROOVE, POWER and tightness.

Influences: Clutch, Monster Magnet, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, QOTSA.

Must be dedicated and experienced at playing live and recording, and be able to write riffs / songs in this style. Own gear essential.

(We are NOT a full-on metal or 'jam' band - no Steve Vai-esque shredders please!).

We all collaborate on song-writing, learn the songs at home and then work hard in the studio rehearsing the songs (though we do have fun doing it!).

We rehearse every Sunday afternoon.

We will require MP3 / Myspace samples as proof you can play and write before we get together for an audition (we've been let down on that front a lot!).

Exploding out of the speakers with 'Reality shift' Clever Disguise begins like Dragonforce but manages to squeeze influences from the likes of Sonata Arctica, Def Leppard and Helloween into five exciting tracks.

'Broken wings' gallops along on a Maiden-like riff with a chorus plucked from the glory days of catchy 80s metal. Things take a comedic turn on 'I think i saw a ufo' which contains enough guitar histronics to make grown men weep. A slight Rush influence seems to find its way onto 'Gonna shoot your right down', while epic closer 'Ship with no sails' is possibly the standout track on the EP with its grandious orchestrial arrangements and choir-led chorus.

London based Neon Fly have announced their arrival with a bang. This power metal meets 80s hard rock song machine has an exciting future!

'Dawn Of Reprisal' features 10 hammering songs leaving any metalhead Worldwide nothing but satifsfied with a mischievous smile on his face! 'Dawn Of Reprisal' was recorded and mixed by Dan Weller and Justin Hill (ex SikTh) at Fortress Studios London and Timeless Studios London, mastered at 360 Mastering by Dick Beetham.

Packed full of face-melting riffs, fret-shredding guitars and a sense of groove that will stand up against any name you care to mention, 'Dawn Of Reprisal' arrives in stores on February, 27th (D/A/CH/I), March, 2nd (rest of Europe). This is the date that the rest of the World shall follow Britain's lead in worshipping at the altar of MALEFICE! Consider this your warning!
